ACCORD was founded in 1986, by two young people who had moved into the Nilgiris committed to work for the Adivasi cause. Over the years they were joined by numerous young tribals who were determined to ensure social justice for their community. Going from village to village, creating awareness, and spreading their infectious determination they were instrumental in scripting a new history for their people.
