Accord is in its 38th year of collaborating with the Adivasi community.
ACCORD has worked with the Adivasis of the Gudalur Valley in the Nilgiris since March 1986 to ensure their participation in society on their own terms, with dignity and pride.
Mission

The four tribes—the Paniyas, Kattunayakans, Bettakurumbas, and Mullukurumbas—spread across 320 villages of the Gudalur valley and came together to form the Adivasi Munnetra Sangam AMS in 1988. Over the years, ACCORD has journeyed with the AMS to assert the community's rights and ensure equal representation and social change.
